Get to know Zach

I joined Flying Colours after leaving College in 2026. My role in the LOA team involves sending letters of authority (LOA) to providers. I also liaise with providers such as Aviva, Prudential and Legal & General on a daily basis to gather the data we need to build financial plans for our clients.

Outside of work

I enjoy hanging out with friends, family and my girlfriend. I like to go on walks with my dog, Bailey, as I find it refreshing to clear my head after a day of work. I also enjoy going to the gym with friends in the evening as it helps me stay fit and mentally puts me into a positive mindset. I am also into sports, but especially enjoy playing and watching football with my dad and my mates.

What do you love about Flying Colours?
As soon as I joined the company, I was met with warm faces and lots of bubbly personalities. There are lots of opportunities here for growth and to learn from others, as everyone is always willing to help out if I felt stuck. I don't worry about asking questions, even if they seem silly at the time, as everyone is always willing to answer and help me continue to develop my knowledge in finance.
What do you love about your job?
I love having my own work load to complete, so I can set my own schedule each week. I enjoy chatting to different people every day, whether it is over the phone or on email, and I love having the responsibility of handling everyone's post and making sure it goes to the right location.
What are your absolute loves?
Going to the gym and working out, playing and watching football with friends or family, and I am a big fan of the anime One Piece.
What are your pet hates?
I am not good at early mornings, but I've had to adapt for this job! Being put on hold by the providers...
