Get to know Alex
I have over 26 years of experience in financial services, with every role involving Compliance in some capacity. Before joining Flying Colours in November 2025, I spent more than five years as Head of Compliance for a London-based Independent Financial Advisory firm. Prior to that, I worked for 18 years as a Consultant, working on various specialist projects and FCA enforced reviews supporting firms such as KPMG, Deloitte, BDO and the Financial Ombudsman Service. I hold Chartered Fellowship status with both the Personal Finance Society and The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Outside of work
I love playing for my local Tennis club in the Buckinghamshire LTA league and enjoy the gym followed by a well earned sauna/steam!
What do you love about your job?
I’m passionate about working collaboratively with advisers, paraplanners, and support teams to help businesses meet regulatory requirements while ensuring clients receive consistently positive outcomes.

Absolute loves?
I love watching most sports and enjoy travelling, eating out and going to the cinema.
