Get to know Russell

I’ve been in the financial services profession for over two decades, starting at a high street bank before joining Flying Colours in 2020. I’m passionate about working with people and building lifelong relationships. I also love giving guidance and reassurance to help you make informed financial decisions. Seeing my clients thrive in retirement and enjoy the benefits of a well-made plan is incredibly rewarding.

I specialise in providing pension and investment advice to a wide range of people at various stages of their lives. I understand that everyone’s circumstances are unique, so I take the time to get to know you and what’s important to you. Managing your wealth can be complex and time-consuming and my goal is to help you simplify your affairs by providing straightforward and transparent advice that is clear and convenient for you.

I understand how overwhelming financial decisions can be, and I’m here to support you every step of the way. I’ll answer any questions you have and help you avoid financial mistakes. Together, we’ll work towards your goals so you can enjoy more of what you love.

Outside of work

My family means the world to me, and I cherish the time I spend with my wife and our two children. When I’m not with them, I love the thrill of cycling and staying fit. I’m also a big fan of F1 and a loyal, albeit long-suffering, supporter of Scunthorpe United.

What do love about your job?
Working with my colleagues and picking up as much knowledge as possible.
What do you love about Flying Colours?
That we are supporting clients with long-term financial planning relationships and suitable advice to help them achieve their financial objectives.
Absolute loves
I love to spend time with the family, go cycling, and watch football, mainly supporting my local team Scunthorpe United (which hasn’t been fun over the last 2-3 years 😣).
Pet hates
People who are rude or not honest and animal cruelty.
